Leak detection
If you're topping off more than about a quarter inch a week beyond normal evaporation, something is leaking.
What's included
- Bucket test first to separate evaporation from an actual leak.
- Pressure testing on suction and return lines to isolate the run.
- Dye testing at lights, skimmers, returns, and structural cracks.
- Equipment-pad inspection — plenty of 'pool leaks' are pad leaks.
- Written findings and a repair quote before any digging.
Signs you need this
- Water level drops faster than the neighbors' pools
- Wet or soft ground near the pool or equipment pad
- Auto-fill running constantly, or a jump in the water bill
